Custom knife maker Mickey Yurco is known for his unusual designs built around ergonomics and versitility. The Boker Plus Backdrop is no exception, designed for speed and flexibility with a slim profile and multi-carry Kydex sheath system. A double-sided hook, leather plate and ball chain offer three carry options allowing the Backdrop to be carried just as comfortably and discreetly as a folding knife. The Backdrop comes with a satin finished D2 blade and black G10 handle scales.

Blade: A simple and classic drop point blade comes in satin finished D2 tool steel with a high hollow grind for excellent slicing and piercing performance. Jimping on the spine pairs with a pronounced index guard for security in use.

Handle: Slim and contoured, the smooth G10 handle scales are attached to the full tang blade with multiple, decorative stainless steel pins. The design offers a secure hold in multiple grips with minimal carry profile. A hollow stainless tube allows for lanyard attachment. The Kydex sheath comes with a double-sided hook for front pocket carry, leather plate for back pocket carry or a stainless ball chain for neck carry.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. With a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) D2 offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. With a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance D2 is a well-balanced, all around knife steel.
