The Boker Plus BugOut designed by custom knife maker Steve Kelly is a simple, compact fixed blade that is a great choice for an EDC neck knife, pocket fixed blade or companion knife to a larger outdoor fixed blade or ax. The design is nearly identical to Mr. Kelly’s custom version but at a fraction of the price. The Boker BugOut comes with a tumbled D2 blade, Tan G10 scales and kydex sheath.

Blade: Full tang D2 Tool Steel forms powerful, 3″ Tanto blade with a high height saber grind for a durable blade that delivers both piercing and slicing performance. The blade is tumble finished with a heavy stonewash that will hide wear from use.

Handle: Two slabs of tan, textured G10 are attached to the full tang with Torx screws for a stable grip platform. The handle design allows for a solid, 3-finger grip for control during fine work while still allowing plenty of force to be used for heavier tasks.

Sheath: Includes a molded kydex sheath with breakaway ball chain for neck carry.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. D2 has a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) which gives it greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels making it semi-stainless. D2 offers a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance for a good all around knife steel.
