Brought about by popular demand, the Bradford Guardian 3.5 offers the same great performance of the Guardian 3 but with a larger handle for a more hand filling grip. Now available in a sabre ground Tanto profile for optimal piercing performance with a good balance of durability and cutting performance for utility and martial use. This version comes with a Black DLC coated, M390 Tanto blade and 3D Natural Micarta handle scales.

Blade: Made from premium, Bohler M390 stainless steel the Guardian3.5 is equipped with a full tang, sabre ground Tanto blade that balances slicing performance with durability while delivering exceptional piecing performance. This version comes with Bradford’s durable, black Diamond-Like Carbon or DLC coating that resists wear, enhances corrosion resistance and is discreetly non-reflective.

Handle: Thick 3D contoured Micarta handle scales are comfortable and offer a sure grip in any environment. They have a more oval shape to be naturally cradled in the palm with a great feel in multiple grip positions. The scales are secured to the tang via heat treated 416 stainless custom fasteners with an exposed tang and lanyard hole.

Carries via a horizontal/scout carry black leather sheath with insert.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 has become an extremely popular choice for high-end user grade knives thanks to its extreme edge retention. M390 also has a good corrosion resistance, meaning most users can avoid problems by simply wiping off their blade after each use. Another great feature of this steel is its ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. Comparable steels are CTS-204P and Duratech 20CV.
