Custom knife maker Craig Camerer is well known for his high quality Balisong knives, and he also makes a fantastic fixed blade. The Little “B” Drop Point is a compact yet robust fixed blade that is a capable utility knife for field use or everyday carry. It is equipped with a performance orientated, forged W2 tool steel blade with machined satin finish. A rugged little fixed blade, the Little “B” has a full-sized handle made from Aged Canvas Micarta attached with mosaic pins to the distally tapered tang.

Blade: The full tang blade is made from satin finished, forged W2 tool steel delivered in a full flat grind. Like a mini Nessmuk, the Little “B” has a drop point blade with belly from tip to heel and a subtle swedge at the tip. A small choil and narrow height at the ricasso provide optimal control of the blade for fine cutting tasks and skinning.

Handle: Attached to the full tang with two mosaic pins, the contoured Aged Canvas Micarta offer a comfortable grip and warm feel in the hand. A custom touch, the distally tapered tang gives a superb balance in the hand. A bird’s head pommel helps lock the knife in hand with a hollow tube for lanyard attachment.

Sheath: Carries via a high quality stitched leather belt sheath.

W2 Tool Steel: W2 is a Water hardening tool steel popular with custom knife makers, beginners and seasoned experts alike. Maximum working hardness is in 63-65 Hrc, W2 has good edge holding and cutting performance with a thin edge and moderate toughness depending on the heat treatment. High carbon, low chromium gives no added corrosion resistance. Maintain accordingly.
