The Outdoorsman Lite is an economical version of the Cold Steel Outdoorsman series. With similar blade shape and handle design of it’s more expensive siblings it has a great look and feel with only slightly reduced performance. An excellent choice for hunters, hikers and campers.
The Blade: Sabre ground stainless steel drop point has been sub zero cryo-quenched for improved wear resistance and cutting performance. For additional utility a section of the spine has been sharpened.
The Handle: Two piece design with polypropylene guard, pommel, and core section that surrounds the tang. This core is then over-molded with grippy Kray-Ex rubber that is non-slip and easy to clean with just soap and water.
The Sheath: One piece molded sheath with an integral belt loop.Â
Krupp 4116 is a medium carbon content steel with a high chromium content that makes it very rust resistant. It is not hard to sharpen and can exhibit better wear resistance than 420HC.
