This original ESEE 3 is an industry standard sheath knife for law enforcement and special forces teams. Upgraded for the modern user, these compact fixed blades retain the classic 1095 carbon steel blades with durable powder coated finish and come equipped with the new, 3D milled and contoured G10 handle scales. This knife is everything you love from the original ESEE 3 with enhanced ergonomics. This version has a Desert Tan blade and Blood Red/Black Handles.

Blade: The full flat grind drop point blade delivers excellent slicing performance and features spine jimping and an index finger choil for enhanced control during heavy cutting. Desert tan powder coated for a durable, corrosion resistant and non-reflective finish the 1095 carbon steel blade takes a razor sharp edge with ease and is easy to maintain in the field. Brand, model and steel markings are laser etched on the front of the blade.

Handle: A full tang construction supports ESEE’s new 3D machined handles in blood-red and black layered G10. Contoured to fill the hand, the 3D scales are comfortable during prolonged use while offering excellent traction in wet and dry conditions thanks to the milled texture. An exposed portion of the tang at the pommel can be used as a striking tool and is equipped with a hole for lanyard attachment.

Carries via a custom molded polymer sheath.

1095 High Carbon Steel: Highly popular, simple carbon steel. Used extensively by both production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear due to low carbide content but offers good toughness and is easy to sharpen. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care.
