A heavy stonewashed finish on the flats hides wear from use while the 90 degree spine is great for scraping tinder and striking a ferro rod for fire making.
Handle: Simple polymer handles are attached to the full tang of the blade with hollow stainless steel pins and are coated with a rubberized over mold that delivers excellent in hand traction while being easy on the hands. The ergonomic design make the handle comfortable in a variety of grips even during extended use. The rear pin allows for easy lanyard attachment if desired.
Carries via a secure molded polymer sheath system with options for MOLLE, drop leg, or scout carry.
420HC Stainless Steel: 420HC is a stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough for a stainless steel. With proper heat treat it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
