The Kershaw Cinder is a small pocket knife that can be easily carried on a keychain. Designed by Rick Hinderer, it has just enough blade to be useful but doesn’t attract any unwanted attention. Built-in bottle cap opener just adds to the functionality. This sturdy little knife is perfect for opening packages or breaking down boxes without looking intimidating to non-knife users. Brand new direct from Kershaw.
The Blade: Sheepsfoot style blade is under 1.5 inches long which allows the knife to legally go places other knives can’t. The design’s up-swept tip provides plenty of useful cutting edge and the stonewash finish hides scratches.
The Handle: On a knife this small, it is sometimes hard get a secure hold. To mitigate that, the shape of the handle allows for a full three finger grip and easy access to the secure locking liner. Textured glass-filled nylon handles keep weight down and grip up. The large lanyard hole at the end of the handle provides a perfect way to attach the knife to a keychain, lanyard or another object .
