LionSteel B41 Bushcraft Orange G10 Sleipner Steel Fixed Blade

The B41 fixed blade retains the award-winning LionSteel fit and finish, premium materials and purpose driven outdoor and woodcraft design. More contoured 3D milled handles enhance the ergonomics while the thinner profile makes for better carry and a lighter weight. The full tang, stonewashed Sleipner Tool Steel comes with a high saber grind, perfect for outdoor use, and a flat tang at the pommel for striking a ferro rod. This version comes with Orange G10 handle scales.

Blade: Stonewashed Sleipner tool steel hides wear from use and is executed in a saber ground drop point profile for optimal utility in an outdoor environment. Unlike Scandinavian Bushcraft knives the B41 has a secondary bevel which gives the edge more durability while making edge maintenance easier. Durability is balanced with slicing performance on the high saber grind while the crowned spine adds a touch of class to this cutting tool.

Handle: Attached to the full tang blade are 3D machined and contoured handle scales that offer enhanced ergonomic comfort thanks to the gradual transition of the contours. Much like the blade, the spine of the tang is crowned which adds additional comfort and style. An exposed portion of the tang at the pommel has been ground flat with 90 degree edges for striking a ferro rod for fire starting and has a hole for lanyard attachment. Orange G10 is a modern composite material that is essentially impervious to the elements while being highly durable and strong. Orange is also very easy to find in the woods. Blasted gray Torx hardware provides secure attachment and easy removal of the scales if cleaning or maintenance is required.

Sheath: Carries via a hand stitched, high quality leather belt sheath with snap loop closure.

Sleipner Tool Steel: is a cold work tool steel from Bohler-Uddeholm with an attainable hardness of 60-64 Hrc. This modification of the classic AISI D2 tool steel, Sleipner has improved toughness compared to D2 with good wear and chipping resistance. Lionsteel has had better edge holding performance compared to M390.
