The LionSteel T6 is the next evolution of their Tactical line and debuts the use of Bohler K490 tool steel for optimal performance with hard use durability. A 6-inch blade length is well suited to tactical as well as outdoor use. Iconic style markers of the LionSteel Molletta designs are in full effect include a crown spine, contoured handle scales, and precision fit and finish. A hybrid Kydex and nylon sheath offer versatility in carry position. This version comes with black canvas Micarta handle scales and a tumbled “Old Black” (PVD + Stonewashed) finished blade. Limited production of 999 pieces.

Blade: Old Black finished K490 tool steel delivers exceptional performance and durability with a high saber grind and clip point swedge ideal for tactical or outdoor use. A crowned spine adds comfort in heavy use and a touch of style with a prominent index guard for added safety and small choil for ease of sharpening. The tumbled black finish hides wear and is discreetly non-reflective.

Handle: Black coated Torx hardware attaches the machined and contoured canvas Micarta scales to the full tang of the blade. Beautifully crowned, the spine and scales offer unparalleled ergonomic comfort while being secure even when wet. An exposed portion of the tang at the pommel has a hole for lanyard attachment.

Sheath: Carries via a Kydex sheath with modular nylon loop.

Bohler K490: Similar in composition to CPM 4V and Vanadis 4E (V4E), K490 is a particle metallurgy tool steel with high toughness (>CPM-M4) and D2 level edge retention. High toughness allows for a thinner, higher performance edge. K490 has added tungsten for increased hardness and wear resistance. Requires care to prevent corrosion.
