The Morakniv Garberg is being touted as the strongest knife they’ve ever built, and its easy to see why. This bushcraft style knife is the first full tang release from Mora and has a robust scandi style blade with a multi-mount sheath for a variety of carry options.Â
The Blade:Â The Garberg comes with a thick scandi ground blade which can easily tackle most outdoor cutting tasks. It has a matte satin finish and comes scary sharp direct from the factory. Being a bushcraft design Mora chose to grind the spine of the knife, which aids in fire starting while using a ferro rod.
The Handle:Â This knife comes with a tough polyamide handle molded around a full tang blade with a light rhombus pattern for grip. There is a lanyard hole located towards the rear and everything is well rounded for great control during use.
The Sheath:Â A multi-mount sheath is included with this version of the Garberg. It allows for carry in multiple carry options via slots on the back and is completely MOLLE compatible. A secondary leather locking strap is also included for additional safety and can be removed if desired.
