Tom Krein Custom Tank Tanto Acid Washed Nitro-V Anso Milled Pumpkin G10 Fixed Blade

The custom Tank is a full sized tactical fixed blade from maker Tom Krein. Designed with Krein’s signature ergonomic handle and performance oriented hollow grind the Tank has a generous handle and robust Tanto blade that gives it versatility for sporting and martial use. This version comes with an acid washed Nitro-V stainless steel blade and Anso pattern milled orange and black Pumpkin G10 handle scales over black liners with a black Micarta pin.

Blade: The +4 inch Tanto blade has a performance-driven shallow hollow grind with generous belly toward the tip for skinning tasks and a visually appealing swedge that leaves the tip strong for powerful piercing. Tough, acid washed Nitro-V stainless steel hides wear from use and is discreetly non-reflective. A ramp on the spine pairs with the integral index guard and handle design for safety and speed in both outdoor field work and defensive use.

Handle: Ergonomically designed, blasted G10 handle scales are contoured and milled with Anso pattern texture for unparalleled traction and a sure grip. Shaped with a generous pommel swell, the handle comfortably fills the hand while offering speed and versatility in use. The scales are attached via a black Micarta pin and hollow lanyard tube.

Sheath: Carries via a custom molded Kydex sheath with large Tek-Lok.

Nitro-V Stainless Steel: Nitro-V is a modified AEB-L with Nitrogen and Vanadium added for enhanced performance. You get is a very fine-grained steel with exceptional edge stability, allowing for a very fine, high performance slicing edge. It is easy to sharpen, with good edge retention and high toughness for a stainless steel, close to M4.
