The custom TK-11 is a mid-sized daily carry fixed blade from maker Tom Krein. Designed with Krein’s signature ergonomic handle and performance oriented hollow grind the TK-11 is an ideal EDC that cuts well above its weight class. This Wharncliffe version comes with an acid washed CPM-S35VN stainless steel blade and blasted blue G10 handle scales over black liners with black Micarta pin.
Brand new, direct from Krein Knives.
Blade:Â The +3 inch hollow ground Wharncliffe blade offers full-size cutting power with performance-driven geometry and a subtle belly for compact carry and excellent performance. Acid washed S35VN hides wear from use and is discreetly non-reflective. Jimping on the spine pairs with the integral index guard and handle for optimal safety. This design is a great companion for outdoor field work and daily carry.
Handle:Â Ergonomically designed, blasted G10 handle scales are contoured for unparalleled comfort. Shaped with a generous pommel swell, the handle design locks the hand in without compromising versatility for multiple grips and has plenty of real estate for most hands. The scales are attached via a black Micarta pin and hollow lanyard tube.
Sheath:Â Carries via a custom molded Kydex sheath with large Tek-Lok.
CPM-S35VN:Â Modified CPM-S30V designed for improved toughness (15-20%) and ease of machining and polishing. Well-balanced for daily use, S35VN has better edge retention and toughness compared to 440C or VG10, with equivalent corrosion resistance.
